You can apply for a Principal Certifier appointment via the NSW Planning Portal. You will be prompted to enter the Principal Certifier details by clicking on the certifier (FutureCert) from the list of options. Step by step instruction can be found in the guide below.
When applying for a Construction Certificate in NSW Planning Portal, you will either select Post Consent Certificate (CC, OC, SC, PCA, SWC) or connect to an existing DA application. Further information and support can be found in the guide below.
To submit a CDC application on NSW Planning Portal, there are up to six pages that must be completed: • Applicant details • Development details • Practitioner details (class 2 developments only) • Certifier details • Requirements and uploads • Review and complete. When submitting a related NSW Planning Portal application, such as an OC, it links the DA or CDC and relevant information will auto-populate to the application so you may not have to complete some of the steps but rather, you can review the information.
You can request a Section 10.7 Planning Certificate online via the NSW Planning Portal from participating councils. When you create a new planning certificate application online, the system will automatically generate a unique reference number which is visible at the top of the application. This reference number will begin with PC10.7.
